Email Marketing Campaign, is it worth to try? just read the post

If your website doesn't have a sign up form for a newsletter, you are losing very valuable prospect data. When a visitor goes to your website, they are often looking for a product or information that you provide. It makes sense, then, that many of these visitors would be willing to sign up for a newsletter with good quality content and more information on your industry and products.

By starting a monthly email newsletter, you will be able to collect prospect data and be able to stay in touch with your customers and most interested prospects. You'll increase your visitor to sales conversion rate, while at the same time build your reputation in your industry and relationships with your customers and prospects.

The easiest way to handle this is to sign up for one of the e-mail services (such as iContact or Constant Contact). You'll incur a monthly fee for this, although nothing that's all that expensive. But the service will incorporate the addition of a signup box on your website and allow you to create each newsletter with a built in html editing facility. In addition, it will give you ongoing reports of the results of your mailings and updates to your mailing list.

I have tried both and I have to say that I stay with Constant Contact, it is easier to use and comes with more resources.

I'd say Constant Contact is the best way.

Email marketing can create wonders to drive traffic to site. One more tip to marketeer, if you are building your own email list then you can try using online business directory to get updated and accurate contact data. I've been using this since from years now. This made my job easier.

Forrester research is showing some very interesting data regarding email marketing. It's going to keep growing. I discuss it in this WebProNews article.

I actually know a lot of people that prefer iContact. Maybe slightly higher quality, while as someone mentioned Constant Contact has more resources. Most of these places - including these two - let you sign up for free trials, so you can check them out for yourself before you begin paying.

Hey Succeedemail can you tell us some good experiences with Email marketing campaigns, there are some persons here who think Email marketing is spam or worthless, I looked at your website and I noticed you have icontact, I know Ryan Allis the company owner. I know you could share some nice tips about what to do and what not when starting or having an ongoing email marketing campaign.
