    Hi mizambar

You may want to consider an Affiliate program such [url]www.regnow.com[/url. Not only do you get a shopping cart and buy links, but you also can also (pnly if you want) have your software sold on the sites of others. For a commission of course!

I now use Regnow almost exclusively on my site for selling the products of others. It works out very well. My own software sales have also picked up about 15-20% due to affiliates.

Paypal is just a company. Meaning technically you can do exactly what they do. You just have to find out how. Pay a lot figuring out now and save years to come of expenses supporting a company that gets rich charging ridiculous percents for changing figures in it's own database.

    PayPal addition

It's funny how shopping cart discussions always come back to the pluses and minuses of PayPal. I want to switch over, but they make it way too convenient to really change.

Anyway, another board member posted this site that enhances the PayPal experience. Here, you can create a coupon for your PayPal sight...I haven't signed up yet, but it looks pretty cool. This is the link to the original poster:

    I ve choosen Clickbank

I use PAypal and Clickbank on my website. The worse thing with paypal is that visitors tried to display the source code and type the url of thank you page (I get over 10 daily fraud attempt on my site, lucky it's secure by IPN) so be aware if you use a thank you page for any login or download products, I will recommand using paypal encryptor programs. Also I prefer clickbank for their worlwide credit card approval and affiliate program you can set on your website.

WorldPay? Don't know what kinda people are they :( They say "Get a merchant account in as little as 2-3 working days"
When I try to find out 'pricing' under the 'Small Business' I get this:
"please provide the following details and we will contact you (within one working day)."

If you are really looking for the fastest and cheapest try www.ikobo.com
Get a Merchant account in a minute and look at the pricing that is cheapest in the industry. See the help section there. Still have any doubts and want answer in seconds? click 'chat' there and get your answers in seconds!

I just love the way iKobo people are Organised and how they care for every minute of their Merchant Account Holders.

Thanks for the info. I managed to find out some more about World Pay. They look ok but I wasn't happy about waiting a minimum of 4 weeks to receive my funds after a payment's been made. Nice way to make money on the interest of other people's money.

I looked into iKobo. It looked really great but I was left with the impression that it was for Americans only (I'm from the U.K.). If that's not the case, I'll happily look at it again as I was impressed.

    Cheers.

This is true, but not for everyone. I called PayPal today and queried them about having customers register when making a payment. Their response was:

"Only qualified accounts are offered this service."

I asked what makes an account qualified and they responded at least $3,000.00 in sales over a 90 day period. You then have to apply for the service.

If anyone has any better info on this, I would appreciate hearing from you.
