Hi,

We are starting a Wine Blog that will be about educating people on the diff types of wines out there, allow wine -food pairing, show you where to get the best deals for wines and an online wine auction.

The name is THE WINE GUIDE

Any suggestions for what we should have in the logo. Looking for advice, suggestions.

The first ideas to pop in my head:
Cork, corkscrew, circles (grapes are round), purple/green colors

Probably something quite simple, classic & classy, not really gimicky, so I'd say a really well presented bottle & glass of wine, maybe with an open menu that would say The Wine Guide?

Why not a wine bottle with your name/url on it?

I would draw inspiration from various wine bottle designs...either the bottle themselves OR the images on them. I have always loved this..
Oh what about a wine bottle with grapes and cheese..mm cheeese...
Well I would highly suggest a google search for wine bottles or wine designs and pull the inspiration from there.

I would suggest something indicating direction like a map or compass. This tells me that you are going to show me the way to great wines.
