Imagery/Logo Ideas

Hi Guys,

Im about to design a logo for a info/content site for dog training/nutrition etc. The domain name is dognetwork.co.uk Online. I was looking for some ideas regarding logo and site design as I wanted to do something that wasnt the same old thing i.e. usually a paw print.

Okay first you really want to start with a Unique Selling Proposition. Dog Training, nutrition and whatever makes the paw print seem about right.

We don't want the logo to try to make up for the everything to anybody, throw it at the wall and see what sticks company.

Dog and network sounds like a place to start. Check out the unbuntu logo and work from there.

I suppose the reason a paw print is usually used is because it is a generic doggie symbol, so that it covers dogs of all breeds. So I was trying to think of something else that would symbolise all dogs, a bone, a bowl, a collar, but not sure so instead...

Logo development is an important process. Your logo will end up portraying a clear image of who you are, help establish recognition and help you market your website. Paw prints are definitely over-used. Best thing to do is hop over to logopond dot com or logofaves dot com and look at the varieties in all the logos. Take notes of what you like and what you don't like - get inspired!
