I knew that things were about to change. We at WPW have a poster to thank for this, as it is something that John (Webnauts) and I talk about via Skype many times a week. It was he who drew my attention to it.

As far as I can tell so far Google's technology in this new field is purely in Beta - but the intention is for the Search Engines to be able to listen to the 'spoken word' and derive some form of algorithm feedback on 'words' that contain anchor text. Now, I try to be amusing, ok, it does not work all of the time! But humor, or humour as we Brits call it, is an important part of life. So without being even slightly racist, we do have a great number of foreign English speaking posters, sometimes they speak extremely quickly, so I guess there could be jobs created for slow speaking and precisely worded 'talkers'. Most certainly if this takes off, then a whole new industry of video production will be happening.

Hi Kjell, the initiative came from two posters, and it was Rah and crankydave who helped me in formatting the theme. It is something that as a marketer can really get my teeth into. And I hope that it proves to be interesting and informative.
