PR Web vs other press release sites

I've found other press release sites other than PR Web, and they're free! Is PR Web the best or are there other sites that are just as good that are free? If yes, can you tell me where?

PR Web has real connection to the Associated Press and other news wires.. If your goal is news worthy information then PR Web is the best.. If your goal is simply SEO then just get links.. Places like 24/7 are great for that.. I don't bother with the free press release sites.. Waste of time..

PR Web has good reach, more than that of many free sites. That is not to say you should not also take the time to post your release to many of the free press release sites. If nothing else it in many cases will give you backlinks.
