use nofollow on the internal links url or use "<META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">" or work with robot.txt

From what I have learned using rel="nofolloe" on internal linking is a definite no, no.

Use no follow for the pages where you dont want page rank accumulate..at the same time you can use <meta name="robots' content="noindex, nofollow">

Use this tag <meta name="robots" content="nofollow"> by using this in source code of any web page, we can index the page in search engines but search engine never follow the links which existing in that page

But stopping search engine spiders in one page is not good practice. That means indirectly your stopping search engine functionality

Yes this is the main way to make page with noindex of the particular page of the site so all the links of that page are go with nofollow attribute.

Why is it a DEFINITE no no? can you explain or back your argument with credible proof please?

    &

If you don't wanna use no follow then SIMPLY don't use the KEYWORDS in the ANCHOR TEXT while linking to that NO INDEX page.

    OR

Don't LINK that NO INDEX page at all

    Thank you

    Re: Recent pr Update

    Sofomor,

there are many threads in this forum as to why it is not a good idea to use the rel="nofollow" on internal links.

Whether I remove the anchor text in a link or not, will not stop pr getting passed on to that page. Any url which is disallowed by a Robots.txt file can still accumulate page rank, but will not pass it on. Same thing applies when using <meta name="robots" content="noindex">.

Sure using these methods will remove it from the serps, but if you are still linking to it from your website, then page rank will still be passed on, so, how can one stop page rank passing onto these urls without using rel="nofollow" and without removing the page?
