Why is it, I wonder, that this brilliant movie starring Michael Caine and Robert Duval seems to have been ignored by most of the world? If you haven't seen it and you get a chance to see it, give yourself a treat. My partner and I have watched it several times and Secondhand Lions is always a pleasure to see.

I love this film. I've seen it a couple of times now. It's just such a feel good movie. There was an interview on the DVD, in the special features area, that was really interesting. The director talks about how "Secondhand Lions" had been passed over by movie studios for years before he finally made it.
