    Re: Review appreciated

I was inspired on Latest news, sport, business, comment and reviews from the Guardian | guardian.co.uk menu colours, which look nice and seem to work. I agree the pics are not directly related to IT, will work on that, but was looking to have a look and feel of a non-uptight corporate IT site.

My dreamweaver cs3 (just upgraded to cs4 today) seems to have some bugs (even my mouse - sometimes I click once, and goes ahead and auto clicks 3 times, ahaha) which is causing sometimes even more funny things (no need to point them out now), lol.

thanks for the reviews so far.

    Keep making changes...

The background behind your search field isn't solid white, so when you view the page in FireFox and scroll vertically, images and text bleed through. It's distracting and looks a little odd.

It's a webpage explosion in IE6. The page aligns left and there are elements laid out all over the place. You might want to fix it.

Test your pages in every browser available before asking for additional reviews.

You'll not be receiving any more free instruction from me until you decide to follow that which has already been provided.

There's still far too much going on. It's hard to focus on your content due to all the motion.

I think the fixed header eats up a bit too much vertical real estate too.

I find it visually disturbing to see the header and the large central graphic directly below it together. The styles are both fine but they make very awkward bedfellows - the organic look of the header is not complemented at all by the more geometric look of the other when the page first opens and vice versa. The next graphic down really is amateur-looking and I would get rid of it immediately if it were on my home page and I was purporting to be a designer of any kind.

I have to be brutally honest and say that a visit to that page would not make me want to hire your services which is, presumably, the purpose of the page. I am not suggesting that I could do any better myself but then, if I could, I wouldn't be a potential customer, would I?

Sometimes more is less and I have a feeling that this is one of those times. Try approaching the page as a potential visitor and ask yourself what you would want to know up front. Less graphics, less marketing catchphrases more clear and concise information would be a reasonable goal in my opinion.

    1. What are the characteristics of your target demo?

    2. I would not do business with you as I can not find any postal, physical, phone contact info.

But, when I clicked on Contact Us in the gray box at the bottom of the page, I could not find any contact info.

Also, you did not answer my question about your target demo.

    thanks,
