    Red face broken links

    Hello !

I asked Ctabuk to view my site and he reported me a broken link. On his suggestions I submitted the site to Xenus and they reported some more broken links the problem is that I do not know why they are broken and how to do to repaire them.

Could someone be kind enough to tell me how to do it?

My site is: TRAVEL - Page d'accueil

the broken link is: http://travel.sylickon.com/../2col leftNav.css

there are more broken links like in TRAVEL - Page d'accueil rome1.php

and I don't undesrtand why they are broken.

I would appreciate very much your help

    Thank you very much

    Hi tots,

In the first case, you've omitted the forward slash "/".

The link to your stylesheet should look like this:
    HTML Code:
    <link href="/2col_leftNav.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    Re: broken links

    Your code is a mess.

A mixture of external and inline styles.
    Inline Javascript. Duplicated.

You should hire someone to spend 1-2 hours methodically working thru a few pages and understanding what needs to be changed.

    Re: broken links

Thank you very much for your answers.
My job is 3D and I've started to learn web by myself
I didn't imagine it could be a mess.

I thought it was possible to mixt styles, javascript, etc.

My desire is to learn to do it myself so hire someone to do the job at my place is not a solution.

The solution would be to understand what I did wrong and try to change it.

    Thanks to you all

    I

Exactly. Hire someone to TEACH you. One to two hours of teaching would help you a lot.
