The contrast between background and text is way too low.
    Very difficult to read.

Your site doesn't work AT ALL with javascript turned off. Which means that the search engine spiders can't follow your links. This means also that most assistive technologies won't be able to process this site either. And in my experience blind folks don't have anything wrong with their ears, and may end up being your biggest fans if you make the site accessible to them. Include a noscript option for your site.

And though I like the basic look of the site, Dave is right. It doesn't have enough contrast to make the text easily readable. You might find running it through this tool to be helpful. Colorblind Web Page Filter

Love the music, btw. I'm currently the world's worst fiddler (every fiddler holds that title for their first year!) And I envy you your smooth and original sound. I currently sound original but very, very far from smooth!

Aside from the text contrast issue, it seems as though you've developed a case of div-itis...a common ailment of people that hop off the table-teet.

    Meaning:
You've got a LOT of div tags in your source that just don't need to be there. I counted 7 before you even leave your 'top panel', 5 of which aren't even assigned a class or id. Although these aren't going to grossly affect SE performance or anything, just think 'less is more'. Pull div's out that don't NEED to be there.

Other than that, like bj said, it NEEDS to work without javascript. It's very simple to make a site function much like yours without a single bit of JS.

Looks pretty solid though, and the production on the tunes is good.
