Earlier this week there was a story on the most important tv station in Norway

under the following heading:

"Google read you epost".

I sent them an email asking them
  1. Do you know contextual advertising?
  2. Do you think other rmail services are safer?
  3. Do you understand Google?
Google do not as far as I know read your non encrypted emails more than other free email services.

But GoogleBOT scan your emails and supply contextual ad, ad fit to the message in the email.

In the way you present the message, you give a false impression that other email services are safer and that people at Google read your emails.

And I could add. Google was the first online email service to deliver 2.8 Gb storage when Microsoft gave 25 Mb. One of the members of our parliament said that she had problems finding her emails on a seminar I participated at Search Summit Norway - Norge største forretnings- og teknologikonferanse innen søk

I thought I should suggest Gmail for her.

Yesterday I talked to my daughter about Gmail and she added, if you are so afraid of GoogleBOT scanning your emails, you can embed it in an attached Word Document or even safer on a Picture (She is a PhotoShop specialist).
