Keyword Question???

I've read many conflicting articles about keywords. Some say that you can have many different keyword phrases, but don't repeat the same one more than a few times because the SE's will penalize you. Other articles say use different keyword phrases, but don't repeat keywords more than five times. I work in real estate sales in Austin, TX so obiviously I am geographically challenged. Therefore my keywords are useless if they are too vague. My current keywords are as follows: austin real estate,austin home for sale,austin texas real estate,austin home,texas home loan,real estate agent texas,texas real estate,austin homebuyer,realtor in austin,homes in austin,realtor austin,mls search,austin realtor,buying a home in austin,selling a home,texas real estate broker,real estate referral,texas real estate referrals,Ronnie Bredahl,homes in austin texas,broker. Notice that I used 'austin' 11 times and 'real estate' 6 times, but with different phrases. Is this bad? If it is bad, should I use less keywords or change them and cut back on the repeated words. Again, if the keyword phrases are too broad I would be targeting people all over and not necessarily prospect buyers and sellers in Austin, TX. Any help would be appreciated!!!

You can select for targeting as many key words and phrases as you have pages to target them on, but I would not recommend targeting more than three phrases per page.

Use these three keywords in your page content, h tags, alt tags, title attributes page title,meta description and meta keywords tags, and especiallin in your anchor text but do not make the mistake of putting any tags into the keywords tag that you are not targeting on your page. In other words no more than three, and maybe less.
