Where is the full report on Google Analytics ?

    Hello everybody,

I am experimenting with Google Analytics....
It looks good, but I can not find a way to download the full report, only selected segments...

I would like to have it on my Excel and sort it different ways....

Is there a way to do that? Maybe only me who is overlooking something obvious?

And I could not find the way to see the time (only the day) when a page was visited...
    Is there....?

    Thaks

    Attila

You can export any page you like by clicking the "EXPORT" button at the top of any page, directly under the page heading.

    To do this:

    1. Select "Visitors" from the left navigation menu.
    2. If you want to export to Excel, choose the .CSV option.
    3. Save the file to your desktop or a local folder.
    4. Open Microsoft Excel.
    5. Import the .CSV file you exported from Google Analytics.
    6. Sort yourself silly.

The time users visit the page is not logged in Analytics. You should be able to get that information from your server logs if you have access to them. Contact your website Host. They should have a web stats package you can access to see that information.

    Enjoy.

You have to add segments to the dashboard and then export the dashboard. For some reason though you can only have one dashboard and that is what really sucks.

    Hi, thanks for the responses...

I guess, the free stuff can not always compete with the paid services.
I only wanted to know that it is only me who can not find what I am looking for, or some info just does not there for me...

    Thanks again

You can customize a dashboard for each login that has access to an account.

There is no easy way to download multiple reports into Excel, but as an alternative I would highly recommend looking at different view types. The either/or view offers some great comparative analysis against multiple statistics.

Avinash Kaushik has a great blog post on different visualizations. The one I mentioned is near the bottom of the post.

Yup already knew that and it is pretty obvious that you can do that, but that is not effective management of GA at all. If I have one company using GA I could need 4-5-6 logins for sales, marketing, product, managers, etc departments? Why not offer multiple dashboards in the same login so that analytics guy life is much easier.

Have you tried setting up multiple profiles in your account? You can use the exact same data and have a profile with a custom dashboard for each. As long as you are under the 50 profile limit this should not be an issue. While you may not have historical data- going forward it is another way to streamline process.

yes we have multiple profiles set up, but that is a efficient at all. It would be even nice if I could set up multiple email reports from the same login. What if I one guy, running one website and I want multiple reports? Do I have to create 10 different logins for myself to get 10 different dashboards? Yup....dumb.

I guess I need to spend some time to figure out how can i get the most out of GA...

I am a relative newbee on this, so it will be take time...

I was hoping that I can get away with the ways I already know.

    Atilla,

I highly recommend Avinash Kaushik's "Web Analytics: An Hour a Day". It is a fantastic book for getting up to speed quickly and an easy read.

    Incredible,

Actually you can have multiple multiple dashboards with one login. Simply create a duplicate profile and customize the dashboard to your liking. Then you just have to switch between profiles from the drop down menu without having multiple logins.
