Another update:
The keywords I recently experienced an increase in the serps with have now returned to normal. And as of thismorning, my main term 'business for sale' in google.com has fallen from #5 to #12 (have been #5 for many months).
This is the 3rd time my site has been spidered since implementing the changes (removing of rel="nofollow" and meta nofollows)
I will just sit tight for a couple of weeks and see if things go back, if not, should I put things back the way they were????

No one can give a definite answer. I noticed since the beginning of June significant changes in the SERPs. There must have been some new tweaks released and I am sure that a mass of IBLs have dropped. In other words Google also have updated the IBLs. I have a new customer that had over 180000 IBLS and the dropped beginning of this month to something like 72000 over night.
I am very happy that my site and of my customers I am taking care of have experienced a boost in rankings and which seem to be stable.
Maybe it is time to revise your SEO strategies and stay up to date with big daddy Google.
I have also noticed a decrease in my link pop. Quite significant actually. I'll try and skype you tonight!

From tracking clients' sites, along with those of their competitors, I've noticed an unusually large amount of volatility in the no. of IBLs reported over the past several weeks.
I thought you weren't an SEO??
Dad always said, if you are good at something, make sure they pay you for it.
