Technorati Tag Problems

I'm having real problems with Technorati at the moment and wonder if anyone can shed any light. Technorati appears to be correctly picking up the tags for my blog, i.e. this post, which has been tagged under 'Beauty Tips' and 'Beauty'.

The problem is that when I go to the individual tag pages, i.e. Beauty Tips Tag Page my blog is nowhere to be seen. Also, a search for beauty tips gives me nada from my blog.

Anyone have any ideas why this would be?

I see that it is in the categories, beauty, beauty tips but what are you using to tag your posts for Technorati?

Hi Chris,

As I understand it Technorati uses the wordpress categories as tags. Notwithstanding this, I actually added Technorati tags into a recent post as a test and still no bananas

I'm not a technorati fan! I use it once but decide not to cause of that problem. . . I suggest that look for other social bookmarking sites!

If you are using technorati for getting traffic to your website then i think there are other lots of social sites which you can use easily and are really helpful in generating more and more traffic to your website.

You can use top 30 social bookmarking sites where you will find a the best social bookmarking sites and i am sure that these sites would help you lot in generating more and more traffic to you website.

I have had similiar issues here also. I stopped using Technorati because of the problems but have had several SEO's recommend it as a 'must'. It's one of the first SBM sites they push. So, if you can resolve the issue, I would try. Good luck.
