Do multiple article submissions work?

Hi everyone,

I've got a question I was hoping someone with experience might know the answer to. Use ArticleBiz.com | Reprintable Articles For Websites And Newsletters. as an example.

If I was to write an article in the 'Business' section and another in the 'Finance' section would there be any point in this as regards to SEO? Each article would have different keywords (which will point to my site) and content.

Does Google take every external link into consideration or, just one from each referring site? I guess what I'm asking is: Would Google only give weight to one of my articles and ignore the other?

Search Engines (Google included) take only one link into consideration from each PAGE not each site, so your two posts will count as 2 links and one will not be ignored in favor of the other.

So, submit away ! Be careful with duplicate content though. More info on duplicate content: search WPW or here

Do Multiple articles submission work? Yes! if u can submit your article in differnt directories.Once google crawl these pages then it wil count the two different url and make sure your articles should be unquie.

I just thought I'd resurrect one of my old threads as it's still relevant to me (and better than starting a new one!

Thanks Bonitza. Are you sure about this? I've always heard that numerous links from the same site didn't carry much weight. Hopefully I've heard wrongly.

Was just hoping somebody could confirm that submitting multiple articles to the same directory (although placed in different pages) would still be counted as two different links by google?

If the site has a lot of pages and your link is only on a couple of them then each page would count the same (depending on pr and outgoing links). If it is a site wide link then it might get caught in a filter.

If by multiple article submission you mean distributing one article to many different article sites i.e distributing them then in my experience yes it does work. If on the other hand you are implying submitting the same article more than once to the same sites then of course its not worth risking getting banned. You will benefit from increased back links from distributing one article to many sources and this is a common practice. Surely it is not possible to write individual articles for all sites. I takes a lot of time to write one decent article so it will be a waste to publish it only on one site as readership levels will be low in addition to only one back link..
