How long you will be in the sandbox is difficult to say. If you market exists for a long time already, you may be in there for a long time.

If I were you I would research which tickets are not much competed for in Google and go for those first. It will increase your chances.

I'd also nofollow all the affiliate links and then make sure there are also links to other sites. Google might consider your affiliate links to be paid links. If that's the case, it explains the PR0 after 5 months.

By the way, very cool css menu.
Thanks for validating my thoughts that I was in the Sandbox. Good idea on the nofollow all my affiliate link- since they are most rssfeeds I have to figure out how to do that. I use KL rssfeeds so if anyone out there knows how to do that please let me know.

Also, thanks for the compliment on my menu! I have to admit I just used a template and modified it a bit so most of the work was done by someone else.

Ok, I think I resolved my nofollow issue. Now when I check my inserted rss feeds the heads show the nofollow tag when I view source selection in firefox. Is this what I needed to do? Did I get it right?

Since I started this thread I have seen google change a few things that give me hope. First of which is the fact that google now show my site having back links (which it never did). Somewhere I read that when they refresh backlinks a PR update is on the way. Also, yahoo has really started ranking me high on my search terms.

For example, Bon jovi tickets is a very competitive keyword and I'm buried there a bit, but if you search for, "Discount Bon Jovi Tickets" my Discount Bon Jovi Tickets is at #5 and my submission to Digg is #1

discount bon jovi tickets - Yahoo! Search Results

So I am feeling good about where we will be in google soon. Then once I am in the same ballpark with the other ticket sites I can begin to do some REAL SEO tinkering.
