Trying to channel pagerank flow into the key shopping departments. Got a real problem with supplimental pages sadly
Yeah I have heard some people doing this. Please post back and let everyone know if doing this helped. I personally feel that all shopping sub pages should be indexed and not in the SI. You shouldnt have to choose which you want to promote. I think your SI issues are elsewhere.
Yes, it is a complete nightmare really when running an ecommerce site. I'll start another thread later on in the google section with an update on what I've been doing and what effect it is having.

1. I am trying to channel PageRank flow ... in other words, I am trying to manipulate your rankings, purposefully interfering with your rankings.
2. I don't trust my own pages (NoFollow was introduced so bloggers could flag links they were not willing to vouch for)
3. I am confused and don't know how to use attributes I place on my site.
Which of these messages do you want to send to the search engines?
Some would not even charge you for guest blogging provided that you got a good article to attract audience into their site!
