    Kudos to Googles

    Links to undesirables.

    Everyone that knows CoolWebSearch doesn't want to even get close to a site associated with them and their malicious browser hijack codes.

    Google seems to be doing something ethical by not listing sites with a link to CoolWebSearch.

    Here are the stats for sites listed containing CoolWebSearch links:

    coolwebsearch.com linking sites.
    Total=48,681
    Alltheweb=16,549
    AltaVista=11,341
    GOOGLE= 0
    HotBot/Inktoma=10,267
    MSN=10,524

    Looks pretty obvious. Link to CoolWebSearch. Die on Google.

    I think the is a great step in the right direction against malware.

    P.S. Google also ranks best by far with the least listings to Gator linked sites.

    Not a bad idea on Google's part however isn't there some danger of losing a lot of genuine sites looking for traffic? For example, all those years ago when I first started website design a was a young kid who would link to anybody to get some free promotion - I can see many individuals still doing that and losing entry into Google. It would be nice if the search engines requested an email and sent a reply to you whether your site was or was not included and why.
    Respectfully,
    David.

    Now that you're all grown up you can understand how linking to unscrupulous web marketers(CoolWebSearch)
    perpetuates malware problems and ultimately alienates the visitors at your site who click through.

    Yes, I can...But my point being, whether kids, or uninformed mom & pop's trying to write a website...People are going to link to those sites. :)
