Firefox/Msn - different results

My link appears on 2nd page of Google search in Firefox and nowhere to be found in Msn
for similar keyword.

Google and MSN use different algorithms to determine rankings. Different results are to be expected in different engines.

Thanks for your answer, I was not talking about search in different engines, it Google searches in 2 different browsers.

Please include some more detail so we can try to replicate the issue:
1. How are you searching? Are you using the toolbar, the in-browser search function or going directly to Google? And if you are going to Google, what is the URL you are going to? google.com, google.co.uk or something else?

2. What versions of the browsers are you using?

3. Do you have a Google account?

4. What is the search term you are using?

5. What country are you in?

6. Are you signed in to your Google account on either browser.

7. Did you delete cookies and web cache in both browsers.

8. Did you check using google i.p. not google.com. Try http://64.233.169.104/search. Different Data Centers often return different results.

The answer is here:
when in Firefox ...it goes to Google where it is on the 3rd page
but in MSN it goes to Google and is nowhere to be found.
(anyway I can change that?)

And when in Opera, the first link goes to Google.il and the second to Google.no.

You have to go to the specific URL, e.g. Google.com to compare.

You could also be getting your results from different data centers.

there could be countless theories on why you are experiences this.

My 2 cent advise to you is: read more about search engines, spend at least the next 7 days reading all you can find about search engines etc, blogs are a good resource, educate yourself a little and then ask questions if you do not understand something.

and secondly, please try to find the answers in the Archive of old posts, you will most probably find your answers there, if you can't find the answers you seek in older posts, then you may post your question.
