Description Twice on the Source Code!

Dear All,

Recently, I came across a site, which was having description being mentioned twice on the source code itself.

My querry is,

Is it a good idea to do that( Repeting Description), or is it done to increase the keyword density.

Please do advice.

Hi tushar123,

There's no advantage to this. In fact, by duplicating a meta tag your code will no longer be W3C valid, and there's a possibility that this could be seen as deliberate spam - particularly if it's done on every page or in tandem with other less-than-desirable techniques.

There are no advantage to have description twice on the source code.It can icrease the chances of spamming.
