What do i need to do for link popularity?

I ran my search for my url on Yahoo! Site Explorer

and it returns 772 links from yahoo


but if i do the same on google link:http://littlepeon2004.com - Google Search , it returns nothing. Anyone has any idea what i need to do so that google can show links to my website?

Google only shows a "sample" of the links they know about using the link: operator. Sometimes that sample is none. Also, don't forget to include the www in your URL when checking on Google, if that's your preferred URL.

Doing a linkdomain: search on Yahoo I'm seeing 245 total links. If you "exclude" the domain itself, there's less than 100.

Work on external links and patience.

Patience has nothing to do with this. The G operators are not accurate.
