Percevia Search Engine-never again see No Match Found

Percevia™ http://www.percevia.com finds perfect matches with its easy to use icon interface. You can build searchable field guides, catalogs, buyer's guides and never again see "No Match Found."

Percevia™ Uses The Revolutionary SAVE Algorithm Based On The Process Of Elimination To Learn The User’s Unique Needs and Provide Targeted Results

Sausalito, CA January 1, 2004: The Mitch Waite Group today announced the launch of Percevia™ – a revolutionary "smart" search engine that can be customized for individual markets to eliminate the "all or nothing" limitations of conventional searches.

"This is truly ground breaking technology," Mitch Waite, Company CEO said. "Percevia™ will change the way people search, look up and interact with information forever. What is truly remarkable is the way Percevia™ can be adapted to specific industries and its ability to learn what results will be most helpful to the end user. Its interface is entirely iconic. No typing is required - even a child can use it."

Percevia™, which can be used with the Windows Desktop, Internet Explorer or Pocket PCs, allows a user to build buyer's guides, catalogs and field guides for any subject that can benefit from a visual search. It allows users to quickly visually identify a specific object in a collection of similar objects, be it automobiles, birds, stamps, pills, or partners for dating. Search requirements are eliminated step by step so that the user achieves a smaller collection of possibilities on each search. With Percevia™ you never get a "sorry no results" answer.

Representatives of the Mitch Waite Group yesterday said they feel Percevia™ will be particularly powerful for the creation of interactive field guides and buyer's guides. Conventional printed field guides are very popular and useful, but, Robert Levy, the key developer of Percevia™, pointed out that they have many limitations that Percevia™ can overcome.

"A conventional field guide is by its very nature a static document," Robert said. "It can’t be updated, unless you are willing to purchase a new edition. It can only provide images and text and after too many pages it becomes unwieldy. Percevia™, by the very nature of the electronic medium, overcomes that. A bird guide, for example, can have bird calls, images of the birds in flight, access to web links, and even interactivity. Plus, it can be updated at the push of a button and has no size limitations."

The Mitch Waite Group is currently allowing companies to test the Percevia™ search engine and database editor from their web site at www.percevia.com. Site visitors are walked through every step of the process and allowed to build their own searchable database. The site also includes information on how programmers can be licensed to apply Percevia™ technology to their developing applications.

"People waste too much time turning pages to find what they want," said Mitch Waite. "And companies are stuck in a web search technology that so often produces meaningless results. Indeed most searches still turn up either no results or so many results that the time spent on Google or Yahoo becomes meaningless. Now with the Percevia™ Editor databases can be created for searching that leap over today's engines, allowing people and companies to find anything they want and find it now.”"

    Laptop Example

FYI This program is designed for making buyer's guides, catalogs and field guides that can be searched in a much more powerful way than a traditional search engine. Check this cool Laptop Buyer's Guide as an example.

For example you can find only those laptops that weigh under 4 pounds and have a screen size great than 10 inches in just a few clicks.
