Turnaround, alright. This morning I had to force my way out the front door, and I had shoveled already last night. We've now got six inches of soggy snow weighing down the trees and power lines, and have had two brown outs since I got up at 6:30. The best thing that could happen today is the sun coming out. As it is, it is still snowing. Welcome to Alberta in late April.

Weirdest spring I can remember. I don't recall ever enjoying March weather. At this latitude, I couldn't have predicted getting one day, never mind a few days at or near +25C in March. We're paying for it now. Today's high: 8C. Thursday: 21C

This is the time of year we get a lot of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, and a giant Low is sitting right over the western states, bringing all that moisture around the top with no mountains to block its way. This hits the colder air coming in from the north, and whammo! Snow up to our shins.

I've been in South Lake Tahoe for a few days celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Beautiful relaxing time. Also posted family photos to Facebook and I agree Facebook is perfect for families and friends to keep up with life's events.
I see Deep is taking the slow approach to get to Ten. Kind of like when I play hide-n-seek with the kids. I'm still worried about what he is up to, though.
We did see snow in Tahoe, a very light dusting. Last year they had snow and skiing into July. But this was the last weekend. Weirdness all around.
