We had adsense nearing $2000/mo. Then we did a re-design to refocus on our service. Nothing new on the service side, but less adsense. Now traffic down so adsense is near $700/mo. We do have some other deals which brings us close to $1000/mo for ad revenue.
Moral: Not sure. But sometimes, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. :O)
Definitely (or least do a lot of testing before putting a new design in place).

The CPC drops in November on this website, it also drops on my other website as well.
My hypothesis for this one is that general tourist interest will tend to drop in the non-tourist winter months, but I am not quite sure, but this is two years in a row now.....
However in slightly brighter news total gross e-commerce sales were $98.85.....

The traffic will also drop unless you have enough good quality seasonal (Winter / Christmas) photos as well to a certain extent.
December 2011, $254.28, I'm showing a nice holiday peak at around the 15th and then a tailoff from there, the 18th --> 25th ; the 25th being the nadir and then the following week not very strong...

It seems to be very static in terms of the income, I realise sometimes its more or less, but you dont seem to have huge increases... what do you think you could add or do to the site to get more visitors? and what are the visitor levels like?
Well, I just terminated the e-commerce website, just didn't sell enough, but the plan is just to keep publishing. I plan on just adding photoblog websites, why limit to just one? I learned that lesson in ecommerce, despite this particular one not faring well, the more you publish, the more eyeballs, the more earnings (from adsense or ecommerce)
$298.96 for february 2012, terminated the Irish Sweaters shop which was draining me to the tune of $99 per month.....CTR is up a little bit as a result, but the CPC is still not very high.....This month is St. Patrick's Day so hopefully the luck of the Irish will draw in some traffic.
