This might be a dumb question, but where are the ads?
Click on the first link in my signature - and you cant really miss them (only exception is the index page where you have to scroll down a bit to see the first adverts (I didn't want to put people off too much before they had even got past the first page....)

Man, 93'000 visitor a month. If I ever got just 3000 a month I think my site would go down.
Where would I ask how 93k visitors is possible?
This posting has incited me to action. I happen to trade online in leather products and had pulled a name leather-directory.com which I did nothing with. Its a parked godaddy domain name. I didn't know if I was going to develop it or sell it, but this should be a nice experiment. I just bought the cheap $3.99 per month hosting account which is pending setup and set up the Google AdSense account. As far as I know there is absolutely NO traffic going into the site as of today.
So do I have a better chance at AdSense millions or should I just keep hoping for Park Place and Boardwalk on the back of the McDonald's french fry box?

To get that many visitors you have to give away LOADS of stuff free that there is demand for, AND you have to make it extremely easy for people to find on the Search Engines - it is as simple as that!
But you still have to put a LOT of work into it - it is not a get rich quick scheme, that is for sure!...
NB - I am in the UK so the dollar gets converted to Pounds Sterling (GBP) - but this is every bit as bad as the Euro at present with regards to conversion rates - but not to worry - I am planning on getting my own back soon when I visit Florida and get a great exchange rate!
Yes, no doubt, UK pound is just as strong vis-a-vis the dollar. Last time I went to Florida I saw a lot of people from the UK there.
Threw up a one page website just to get the ball rolling. I'm just going to turn it into an informative website about the different brands and also use it to post wholesale trade leads. So, I figure I'm going to make it into something that I would find useful. It'll be my first fun project that I have undertaken since I have started.
Signed up for Adsense and thought I was a go on it, but when I logged into the account, it does appear I have to go through some sort of human/manual approval process which they say can take up to a week.
