Search Direct Media is a SCAM.
Just another company name of the same scam.
And they've bought a Google Sponsored Link.
Everyone do a Google search under their name, then repeatedly click on the link and they'll be paying a lot of money for their ad!
They're at it again!

Beware. It's a scam!
I was also a victim of Portal Response Technology. We paid them over $20K. I would like to know if there is a lawsuit or any criminal acation that has been taken against PRT. I have some interesting evidence that I could offer to prove the scam. Someone at PRT when entering our key words, mis-spelled a word. PRT claims that over 3000 people typed in this search term with the mis-spelled word. After 90 days there was 0 hits on that term. This is statistically impossible. I have much more info if there is someone filing a Class Action.

This provision clearly provides relief for anyone whose free speech is threatened by malicious prosecution designed to chill public participation. That relief includes the recovery of damages and attorney's fees.
It is apparent from the postings on this particular blog that a number of your clients have experienced less-than-satisfactory results, and that many of them have raised concerns regarding your operation. We reiterate their right to express that opinion.
If you wish to silence these posters, your efforts will not go unchallenged and you are likely to lose more than you hope to gain. We advise you to go about your business with honesty and integrity, and perhaps these complaints will not be so widespread.

I just registered after seeing your post concerning One Top Firm aka Search Direct Media . They are threatening me with prosecution for posting that I think they are a scam. Since they obviously are scamming people I'm assuming they are just threats and any legal action they might take would not be something I need to worry about. Am I right?

You should be very cautious about returning any phone call you receive from them. Doing so will confirm your identity, by linking your screen name to their guess.
You may also choose to contact your own attorney to respond on your behalf, but unless a civil complaint has been filed, you do not need to.
We know operatives from One Top Firm and its affiliates read these boards.
We reiterate that any attempt to silence free speech and chill public participation will be aggressively defended by our firm and other Free Speech Advocates.
what an interesting thread. a friend of mine got a call from one of these outfits and didn't sign up. i have direct links to talk radio down here in southern california: guys like John and Ken on KFI, Bill Handel, Larry Elder, Doug McIntyre. if enough people tell me they have been threatened by these asswipes, I'll give them all the bad publicity they want.
