Should i cloak affiliate links?? confusing !

I read that sucsessfull afilliates cloak there links but i also read that cloaking links can cause the error in the tracking , dependant on what tracking software they are using.... How do i go about this problem??

Have you talked to the affiliate and asked them?

I was thinking if its really worth it, i have about 10 different affiliates, and i might have to use a different system for them all for all i know. It would be intresting to see some numbers on how much more sites really generates from cloaking links. If it's 5%+ more - i will defintly be cloaking the links when my sites get's more popoular.
