Google Adwords turns blue box cream

Has anybody else noticed that the Google.com Adwords blue box has turned cream coloured? Going through client traffic I notice that Google.co.uk's blue box has stayed blue but the dot.com version is cream.

Is this just a test? Is it an attempt to make the difference between sponsored and organic results look visibly more subtle?

    See Google.co.uk Google Adwords.

    and Google.com Google Adwords.

I'm assuming this is something Google are testing Worldwide.

Yeah I noticed it about a week ago. Looks like custard to me.

Has your AdWords traffic dip or went up?

    Custard cream

    Jaan,

90% of Adwords traffic I'm involved with comes via Google.co.uk. I haven't seen any discernible differences with the Google.com derived traffic.

I manage a few smaller campaigns and I have not seen a difference.

    Switching between Google.com and Google.co.uk

    Jaan,

in the UK about 90% of Adwords traffic comes via Google.co.uk and 10% via Google.com. The contrast is quite marked. After looking at the blue box the cream box is almost invisible.

Exactly, I think that is the goal here. They want the ads to blend into the page more. Using varying contrasts on different desktops/laptops some monitors cant even see the custard color.
