    SEO book

As SEO is an un-ending process, one needs to collect a vast data and implement the strategies. We can get the necessary information in forums, but is there any book which covers A-Z of the SEO. Please do recommend a good SEO book.

    Thanx in advance.

    Hello,

Aaron Wall wrote an SEO Book. I've never read it but there are a lot of people who give it rave reviews. http://www.seobook.com/ Another one that has been around for years, or at least the company has, Planet Ocean, http://www.searchenginehelp.com/

As far as SEO goes. There are tons of sites about seo and so on. But the only two I really visit is Bruce Clay's site, http://www.bruceclay.com/ and Jill's High Rankings site http://www.highrankings.com/

    Hope this helps,
    Chris

seobook.com is awful. Don't read it. Aaron Wall intentionally puts incorrect information in there just to make it sell more copies. That book and website is the last place you should go to learn anything about SEO.

And there are no books that are current as their content is out of date.

Learning SEO is easy: make a website that is usable and accessible and put only high quality unique content on it. Even if you do nothing else you will be successful. Of course taking care of some finer points would be beneficial but definitely aren't necessary.

I stumbled into seobook.com today after seeing a video on google promoting it... after 10secs i got the impression that this was not about SEO but just to increase his income, and left it. I think the Web Ceo program is a prettt handy tool, also i use the tool on the submitexpress to check and improvehavekeywords that match the content and topic

    SEO Resources

Okay I am just learning all of this. I set up a website, just a $1.99, www.educationplusinc.org, to get my non-profit going. Then I came across GDI and got a bigger website. I am learned how to put in banners and links and even a movie. Its in draft phase but if anyone would like to look at it and give me so criting I would appreciate it. www.educationplusinc.ws . Theres a feedback and guest book spot on it if you want to leave it there! Thanks.

Yes I agree books are far to outdated. i would join and participate in a select few websites that you trust and stay on top of any new news in the industry. Here are a few links to get started:

Sticky: All you need for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Sticky: SEO, Where Do I Begin?

    SEOmoz: Beginner's Guide to SEO

The Quick Kick-Start Guide to Search Engine Optimization

I am not promoting any of these websites above, just some simple places to get started.

I definately agree with Incredible help. You can learn whatever is needed for SEO just by reading in forums like this.

You will see a lot of repeat subjects over time but sometimes we all need remindign of the basics so its good to be involved all the time i think.
