First page listing in Google disappears overnight!

Can anyone help please. We have worked tirelessly creating in-bound links, verifying our site, submitting site maps etc so we can be found in
the Google searches. In particular one of our page categories Goodsphere Revitalizer Systems has vanished. Normally when you type in just the
word Goodsphere we come up 8th on the 1st page but overnight this listing has vanished. We have made no changes to our site and the page is still ranked by Google so why would it just disappear like it has? Is this just tempoary and will it come back.

    Our website is http://www.thehealingstore.co.uk
Many thanks if anyone can help.

I see you on 7th place for the keyword.

It definitely isn't there now. it's in the omitted pages but we're not sure why. we don't think it's keyword stuffing as we've taken some keywords out and the bots have been to that page and still omitted it. Any help gratefully received. thank you

It happens ... so give it a few days, it will come back ... just keep working on creating a good site with good content and linking(the right way) and dont worry much of these hourly/ daily fluctuations. As long as you are doing any thing wrong you will be fine.

The days are gone of stagnant or stable SERPs.

With search load balancing on close to hundred G datacenters, localization and personalization of search...we will will not see stable results anymore.

As everyone can see it is just getting worse for those of us that run ranking checkers and use it as a metric for personal SEO gauges or for clients.

Your not doing anything wrong, fluxuations are NORMAL!

    Hello,

Your site is ranked in 5th on Google. For that very limited amount of compeition though, I can't see where you would get much traffic. But if you are getting traffic, work on your page title, on page optimization including link text, alt tags, alt titles and meta data and you can easily take #1 spot out of only 42,000 competitors.

Listing is now no longer even in the Omitted section of Goog

Firstly, thank you all for your response's. We are still waiting 2 weeks on for our listing to re-appear, and now we have noticed that we are longer in the omitted sites section for the word Goodsphere. We have now reduced the word goodsphere on this page, and even re-worded the text has this was supplied by goodsphere themselves, so as not to have a word perfect copy. All we can do like you say is wait it out.
    Thanks once again

    Hello Micheal,

I am just curious about something.

From looking over your site, your home page is what you have been working on optimizing right?

But yet, all of the search terms that you have mentioned here are not showing Top Positions for your home page, instead, the most highly ranked page that you have is actually a category that promotes just one keyword phrase. http://www.thehealingstore.co.uk/store/content_cat/139

With a site like that, Are you using custom sitemaps and feeds such as sitemap.xml, sitemap.rss and pinging them to Google, Yahoo and MSN?

    Just curious,
    Chris

BTW: Just an idea but if that was my web site based on my knowledge of SEO, I would browse each main category from your home page, copy down each keyword phrase until I covered all main categories. Then, I would use that selection of words to optimize the home page, meta data, link text and alt text.

I say this because you are using some keyword phrases in your meta data but there insn't any density for them on the page. Meaning that you list them, but you don't have content for them. So they are moreless stop words.
