    Marketing Help

    Hello all,

I am doing a marketing outline for my client and I need a little help.

The target is people interested in HypnoTherapy.

Here's my outlets I've outlined so far...

Groups ( Yahoo and Google ) that are for Hypnotherapy

    UseNet groups

    Press Release

    Mail to current subscribers
Are there any other outlets that anyone could think of that are both free and of the target audience? I have a total of 30 days to get this done

I've never had to do marketing for this type of business so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John Paul

Hypnotherapy why not try "Quit Smoking" groups or sites. That's all you hear about with Hypnotherapy.

Actually J_Paul, if it helps I am currently developing/marketing a website for a hypnotherapist as well.

As davidmg said try focusing on the "problem" rather than the solution as there are still many sceptics out there.

If they have a niche area, thats even better. There are many hypnotherapists out there.

Actually for this type of business local advertising would work best. Try local blogs for local community stuff IE city blogs, newspaper blogs, if Crains is local for you etc. This could be a great tool to hit.

Hi Everyone.. thanks for your info so far.

Well the problem is that the class is in the UK. Not a local event. I work for a Center, not just a hypnotist. This place is a school as well as a thearpy center.

The class is revolved around "advanced" hypnotherapy.

    Thanks again!

You may also include targeting people looking for losing weight and fight obesity, a similar social networking could help you, I believe.

Research your keywords and optimise your site first.

Post on related forums with a link in your sig -
    http://www.big-boards.com/

Write and distribute keyword related articles,
again with a link in your sig.

    Link exchanges.

    One way links.

Joint venture with a related site, preferably
    one with a list.

    Ezine advertising.

    Free classifieds.

Ebay classifieds, tap into that traffic. ;)

Social bookmarks, MySpace profile, Squidoo etc. etc.

maybe a youtube video with a demonstration of the therapy? of course the key would be choosing the best keywords to describe your video.
