    SEO Help

Can anyone please tell me what would be a major reason I would lose my site in google searches for most of my keywords. For a month and a half I was doing quite well (finally) for many keywords in Google and I was doing pretty good in sales but the last week of December my site has not been found by searches done in Google and sales have pretty much gone. If anyone could shine some light I would be greatful.

Ken, Google is undergoing major algorithms updates.
Could be that you are affected, which means that your site will have to be re-optimized accordingly.

If you have luck, could be that you are in the sandbox. If you have less luck, because of the algorithms changes, could be that your site went into the supplemental results. If it is so, you are in a kind of trouble.

But without a URL, it is hard to tell what can be going on.

    Re: Seo Help

I have placed the URL of my website in question in my sig. All my pages were doing quite well for a month and a half with the main keyword being the product itself for each page and "tonneau cover" for my home page. Now I can't find my site at all on Google for any keywords only on MSN. Any help would be welcomed.
    Thanks for your replies.

I know one thing for sure. Many pages of your are in the supplemental results, and one reason for sure is, that you have canonicalization problems.

Thanks for your input. I am not very techy. Do you think this will rectify itself or should I take matters into my own hands somehow? Or is there little hope?

Do we know what any of the changes are, or what is the time to figure out what we have to change

To be honest I never cared about algorithms changes. And I will never do. I design sites with best possible semantical structure and navigation, and best possible markup, so I do never need to care about all that. ;)

Ken I would really concentrate on acquiring relevant backlinks. Start posting useful threads in the appropriate forums for car accessories. Start a blog. Start writing product reviews, post them on the website and then syndicate them. Anything to get a buzz going about the website.
