help regarding .htaccess file

hi. this isnt exactly SEO related but i have been searching for hours with no solid answer. basically im trying to block people from countries like china, taiwan, japan, etc from entering my site. the only answers im seeing when search is by denying range of ip's. i found a country list of ips but its too long and when comparing to another list i found, the numbers are different. is there a simple code i can use? i also found to block people from site like .tw .cn and .jp but this isnt the best method either. what do u experts recommend me doing? i need to do this asap. thanks in advance

I do not really know how to achieve what you want, but we added this http://www.seoworkers.com/htaccess.txt in our .htaccess file and we are very happy so far.
