check out this site... I would imagine it could be a nice link to check out where you are listed and who is similar to you...

Nothing but a wiki-scrapper to me.
The competing sites list appears to come from Alexa. Nothing really useful here, but it does pull from a few data sources.
Brian.
what I thought was interesting about it, is that it did market research for you...
mmm market research...
mmmm = minimal in this case. Market research is much more than just seeing one page of info about a site. Just because a site exists with competing sites doesn't mean demand is there.
Brian.
market research means knowing your competition and your customer... anyone who lists you competition and your keywords is helping... plus they give you a page that links to you... that only helps... no hurting there... plus anyone could come and write about you... not so good...
every link helps
hey increddiblehelp, what's a wiki scrapper?
It'd be better if the list of related domains was better (blame Alexa for that).

Is ufl.edu really related? How about the 4 domains that we 301 redirect to our other site? NBMC.com?
Actually, Alexa has a page that's a a lot better. http://www.alexa.com/data/details/re...l=toolbarn.com
As for the wiki scraper, it's a wiki that scrapes info from other sources online. Nothing too original here.
It is true that you can't argue with a free link. Too bad most of the pages can't be found through navigation. It takes a query to find most of them, making them links that spiders won't see in most cases.
Brian.
really I didn't click on any of them... you mean the links at the bottom I take it...
never cared for alexa they seem to not like me either... ranking me llike 445,213
ouch, and my competitors in the 43,018 range... I must be a bad boy...
strange thing is I rank right under them for Serps...
mmm alexa = stupid
glad google doesn't think that way...
I see what you mean those links go to the profile of the competitor... interesting
