By the title, I am pretty sure you can guess what it's about.

Here's how the site works:

Goto www.diggalerts.com

1.) Join
2.) Select the categories you want to be notified of when a friend of yours adds a digg posting
3.) add your digg friends to your list (username or email)
4.) continue posting on digg like you normally do, but once you're done, swing over to digg alerts and post there to tell your friends.
5.) that's it!

Right now we are going to lock registrations once we hit 150 users - we want to iron out the wrinkles and find any bugs or anything else that doesn't work (while we are looking for feedback on design enhancements and requests, they will all go into a queue for now).

If you've ever used digg, you know that in order to get your posting to the front page or the top of your category and actually get people to read it, you need many people to "digg" it.

All this site does is enable you to email your friends anytime you post a story on digg.

That's it.

It can help you in getting temporary traffic, finally it depends on you how you can be able to retain few of the visitors.
