Recently Updated My Website

Hi,

I have recently overhauled my entire website and changed each and every link...

I have added a google sitemap and am hoping to get google to re-index my site.

When you search in the keywords i want people to find my site with, all the reasults point to the old site and links which no longer exist...

Is there any way to get google to update their results and re-index my site?

Or Google may not delete them from its index even after six months like this one( http://www.google.com/search?q=cache...r&ct=clnk&cd=1
).This site was removed in June.
