    PR update

It seems that it has happened.
2 of my sites lost PR
    3 gain PR
    5 unchanged.

    New sites didn't get PR...

PR has been updated on some datacenters. Check with the below tool

Has anyone noticed a ranking shift as the TBPR propagates across the datacenters?

It seems that the PR cut-off is early August/late July. I have a new site that is showing no PR on the updated datacenters. The site was launched 04-Aug-2006 and site is indexed and page #1 for its targeted keyword.

The Google green bar shows that all our pages PR have been increased!

    Thanks for the info.

It seems at the beginning of every quarter now we have these false alerts.

Maybe it is just minor fluctuations (nocturnal emissions most likely) before a change.

No changes anywhere as far as I can see, and I am looking at several Sites with newer pages.

IMO - It's not likely to be earth-shattering news when it happens next time anyway.

John, from here you are still a 6 and 5s. Are you seeing something different?

The changes cannot be seen in the green tool bar yet.

Here is one of diverse tools I used today: http://seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank-dc.html

I also use the desktop utility: "snoopr" and I get the same.

Possibly the update is not exported to the green bars yet. I see the same you do in my green bar. :)

I also saw now that in some datacenters our PR have not been changed. Could be that it is still going.

Does seem to be some noise - Looks like the cut-off date for this one is before 8/25/06, right now.

Appears that Google is rebuilding the index. (For more information see Webmaster Help Center: My site's no longer included in the search results. What happened?)

For instance on one keyword that I watch, the results are usually about 42million. I'm now seeing 17,900,000 results. The ip in the cache is http://64.233.161.104

Definitely some noise. My backlinks increased from 124 to 200

Google usually waits a little longer to muss things up for the holidays. Usually right after all the online small businesses stock up to the max.
