Why does every HTML WPW newsletter always have half the images missing?

Maybe I have too much time on my hands (at the moment) if I'm posting this.

But I've emailed the comments/feedback thing on the bottom and never got a response. I mean this is going on for a long time now.

Anyone else see this?

All the images work fine for me. Come to think of it that newsletter brought me back here.

Well, what do you think happened when I looked today? Poof. They're all there. But this has been this way for a long time. I printed to PDF once (January 06) and emailed it to the feedback address. Still got it:

They've been looking like this a long time. I just peeked at the source of the email and noticed there's no content-transfer-encoding like quoted printable.. it's just all long lines of code. But that wouldn't explain why the images suddenly showed up today.

in that pdf, all of the images being blocked were advertising images. is it possible you have an adblock plug-in or something like that?

Yeah, noticed that.

No, I definitely do not. Nor does my company block domains, monitor internet usage or anything like that.
