UK Gov't Violates Own Copyright With YouTube Video?

You POME's will have to help me understand this one...your ways are strange to me ;-)

So, the Cabinet Office had to pull a public service announcement off of YouTube because the Central Office of Information, which is an agency that reports to the CO, said the video was used without permission.

Isn't that like CNN giving grief to Time Warner? You know, in a government agency kind of way...

    Help me out.

    article here.

    So now you know.......

So now you know why the UK has the most inefficient public sector in the western world.

The US has low taxes and poor public services. High crime, dirty streets and poor public health facilities.

Continental Europe has high taxes and good public services. Low crime, clean streets and excellent public health facilities.

The UK now has the worst of both worlds; high European style taxes and poor US-style public services. Growing crime, filthy streets and a deteriorating public health service - whilst government expenditure has risen 70% under Tony Bliar.

Meanwhile a growing army of public sector bureaucrats and politicians enjoys soaring pay and pensions at the expense of ordinary citizens.

depends on where in the states

I can't speak to conditions in the UK, really...In the states, it really depends on where you are when it comes to streets and crime -- health care depends on money...if you have enough, or good insurance, you live.

The states are given a lot of sovereignty with regards to taxes and services offerred. In the larger populated areas, like NYC and LA, crime is high, there is more disparity between rich and poor (lots of poor, few rich)and the streets are often dirty, and taxes are very, very high...to pay for services and sprawling buildings and crime fighting and the like.

Most of the States though, live in rural or suburbia, where taxes and crime are relatively low, and the streets, if they're paved, are quite clean. Come to Lexington some time. It's a gorgeous town, with low crime, moderate taxes, beautiful landscape, and lots of hospitals with great reputations...if you can afford them or have insurance.
