    Unusual site referrals in stats.

I was checking web stats for one of my client's sites and see that all the referring sites are gambling type sites.
The client has nothing to do with these type of sites and when I went to a sampling of their pages I can find nothing that would point to my client's web site.

Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

Referrals are not always technically referrals. Some analytics software can't track if a customer actually clicked on a link in site A onto site B or if they just happened to be on site A right before they came to site B. It would be better titled as "last page viewed" in some analytics software.

So is there more than one referral per referrer? Or just some static in the scheme of things?

    Thanks for responding guys.
    www.ElsaZarduz.com is the site.
These are some of the referring sites, there is quite a long list. I have stripped the http//www from them so they are not active links:
Each has sent 3 to 5 visitors.
Web traffic is averaging 60 visits a day.

Edit: I Just checked a different webstats program and that one does not show the gambling site referrals.
It also shows a MUCH lower daily visitor total.
    Now I am really confused.

    hmmmmm
    More investigation.
The client has a guest book script and this seems to be the page getting all the hits.

I bet the traffic is an automated script trying to add their ads to the guest book.
