    How to control window size - html Q

    Q1: Is it possible to pre-determine the size of the new window, so when it opens, it will be smaller, and will not cover the original window completely?
    This would eliminate some of the negatives acssociated with a new full size window.
    Q2: If yes, how?
    Q3: Is there a way to 'read' the user's current window size?
