    ASP or SHTML or HTML

    Hi

    I would like to ask one more simple QUESTION !

    Which pages are given higher priority by Search engines - .asp pages or .shtml pages or .html pages and why??

    All responses would be highly appreciated

    All "web page" extensions are viewed the same by the SE's. Now if you change page extensions then special instructions are needed for this change.

    .html page is best for seo

    I think .html page is best for seo point of view

    because if your page extension is .asp then it crawler need to check out first that page is static or dynamic. and in case of .shtml it shows that the some where site is for commercial because .shtml show secured html.

    Utter garbage. Since when did shtml refer to secured html??? Also the crawler doesn't need to "check" anything - the server will parse the asp / php / whatever and return html.

    Bottom line is the page extension doesn't make the slightest bit of difference
