    Why and How??

    I was looking for new link partners today and came across this site: noposhbag.co.uk

    It has a PR6 and what appears to have no back links.

    Any ideas how it has such a high PR?

    They have plenty of backlinks. Remember it is quality not quantity.

    Ok, thank you for that.

    How should I be checking backlinks as when I use the following I do not find any.

    I use Google and insert link:http://www.url.com or .co.uk

    I found that when checking my site with "link:url.com", the result only reveals some links with high PR (4 or more).

    Try:
    "www.url.com -site:www.url.com" (without quotes)

    In google use
    link: url
    notice the space between "link:" and "url"

    You can also use yahoo's site explorer
    http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
