    Carillon Core 4

    Anybody having any experience with this Carillon Core 4 machine or a comparable system?

    Requiremwents: Triple head monitors.

    No reply so long. In the meantime I have found a solution with 4 monitors, Matrox EpicA series graphics cards.

    Note: It is system dependent.

    Their TripleHead2Go solution has won a lot of awards.

    No, it is about productivity. Start by trying 2 monitors, and you may see the difference.

    I do use 2 screens, I have Eclipse on my main screen and the browser open on the other so I can see the changes as I go along. I was only kidding about the geek thing... you have to admit though... 4 screens is pretty geeky :D

    Have you ever visited a trading room? With 4 screens, you do not even get close to the information in front of a professional trader.

    A word document on one screen.
    An internet page on the other screen.
    An open folder on the third.
    A messenger session on the fourth.

    The combinations are infinite.

    I suppose there are applications for having 4 screens. Like stock tickers and other real time information. I've also seen multiple screens in NOC environments with security and network monitoring programs running on different screens as well.
