MSN claim that their new engine is 'more precise and more powerful'.
How do they base this claim and do you agree?
In what way is MSN's search power greater than any other search engine?

It would be interesting to see on what grounds they base this claim on and also it would interesting to see what other Comedians the scriptwriter for that press release writes for.
Their latest engine is a joke unless of course you are happy with scrapping sites for content, loading up the pages with adsense and generally cluttering up the Search Engine. If that is what they are after then yes MSN is the biggest gorilla around.
I base my findings on research of some 150 plus web sites that have all lost pages, in some cases had content ripped from them and found the offending sites higher in the rankings. All good stuff really.:-(
Where do they say this? Is this just a marketing slogan or is it backed up with some evidance?Originally Posted by Tim

Note: "Were committed to..." rather than we're. Sounds like the commitment has passed (typo surely?)."Were committed to continuous improvement in the speed, precision and ease of use of our search service," said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of the MSN Information Services & Merchant Platform division at Microsoft. "This built-from-the-ground-up version of MSN Search provides an infrastructure that enables us to rapidly innovate and give consumers precisely the information theyre looking for, no matter where its located."
"MSN Search provides an infrastructure that enables us to rapidly innovate and give consumers precisely the information theyre looking for..." but perhaps not the actuality?
"...more powerful and more precise than its predecessors." Ah, now I get it! Thought for one moment that they meant better than the competition. Phew!
