I dont see how it would be worth that much but something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I would be willing to bet that the name isn't worth much more than $50.00 to $60.00 US.
You can get a $4.95 appraisal through Godaddy.com
or a free one here but frankly eversince godaddy appraised one of my domains at $98 to $150 where network solutions said $10,000...I think network solutions numbers are grossly inflated: https://www.certifiedofferservice.com/
Hi Folks,
I think it is quite a nice name ( nice idea about the site as well, but it would have to be one hell of a database or search engine ).
A lot of the value will depend on the number and quality of visitors you get.
It does not appear to have an Alexa ranking.
I could not find it in the Wayback Machine, which suggests it has not been used much.
Has a Google page rank of 2, which is quite low.
Although these can only give a very rough estimate I would guess that it is not receiving a lot.
So based just on the name I would say $50 to $100 for a quick sale, hang in there, build up the traffic and search out a buyer and you could get a few hundred.
All the best.
Richard
hi all
thank you for your reply yes i noticed www.madeanywhere.com It does not appear to have an Alexa ranking. to my surprise just 2 to 3 months ago it was ranked arround 1.400.000 and then 4.000.0000 can you tell me why.
also i have no plan to sell it i do blive so much that it will work. But i am open to the idea to work with somebody as an associate someone who can bring something to the plate or can help to bring the site to the next level. i am in new york city for vaction.
Hi,
There are really two main reasons that an Alexa ranking can drop dramatically if you have just bought it.
1) The previous owner was using some sort of paid ( or free ) advertising, when you take over the domain that dried up.
2) If the previous owner had it pointed to another site then it can pick up that sites ranking, hence when you moved it away the ranking dropped.
If you have had the domain for some time there can be a variety of reasons fot the drop, really it boils down to dropping visitors. Also remember that the Alexa ranking is only influenced by people who have their tool bar installed. Hence advertising the domain on such forums as this one and others that are read mostly by techie type people, which are more likely to have that installed ... This is especilly true of domain trading forums.
All the best.
Richard
I have seen Alexa Rankings drop when visitors were up on more than one of my sites.
Credibility there is taken with a grain of salt IMO.

Yep, Alexa ( along with a lot of other methods ) can only ever give a rough idea. It only takes a few regular visitors who have the toolbar installed to boost your ranking, on the other hand if you have many visitors who do not have it installed then you will not get a ranking.
I think this is especialy true when a domain is up for sale ( or is the the process of deletion ) as a lot of the traffic will be from domain traders looking at it, hence a higher proportion with the toolbar.
After that it tends to revert to 'normal' traffic with a lower proportion having it installed.
All the best.
Richard
it is worth $0
