Google Love's Me, Google Love's Me Not?!

Hi all,

My site www.4-cell-phones.com has been live for over 5-6 months... but only completed/fully launched on March 03,06.

During it's initial pre-launch it had been spidered by all the SEs, including Google. So, sure enough when I officially launched the (extensive and completed) site in March, all the SEs were pretty quick to pick-up most of the pages (GOOGLE GAVE ME PR5 FOR A BUNCH OF PAGES WITHIN WEEKS). MSN is ranking me Number 1 for a lot of terms... Yahoo get's me for a few wayward terms but Google still has me on page 10-15 or even worse for phrases associated with cell phones. WHY I WONDER? When Googlebot came by about a month and half ago and actually was serving my site on page 2-3 for about a week and the POOF... no more action. :-(

I would also like to mention that upon official launch I had an ROR xml sitemap file in my head tags for SEs. So, I thought maybe that's why my pages were not being crawled correctly OR THEY WERE? Nonetheless to avoid a conflict between 'index, follow' and the 'stemap.xml', I got rid of the latter. But, still no results/ changes in Google hits.

Can anyone shed light on this????? It would be really appreciated.

Google likes aged websites. Also Google likes to see deep links to interior pages and not just your home page. Do you have those? More than likely you are not doing well on Google because you have been online for only 5-6 moths.

I have client right now that is in this same boat, but we aren't sweating it. I understand that some websites can take over a year before they start getting traction in Google.

Sure but it better to have some ups rather than all downs.
