Re: Support for small search engines

I have been looking for like-minded people. I would like to work with small search engines as well as SEO companies to provide more relevant search results.
Social Media and User Generated Content are the two big trends on the Web right now. Web 2.0 is thriving from the participation of the users.

CorrectSearch hopes to provide better search results by letting users themselves submit website for any keyword as well as judge if other website is good or not. CorrectSearch will depend on the the active contribution of the public.

    Hi CSearch,

I've replied here a long time ago, got no response, so I think the rest of the people in this discussion are out.

I've heard about the launch of search engine incubator. As much as I could get from their website (OMFICA), the incubator could give small search engines as beneficiaries access to data repository for commercial or non-commercial purposes. I think its a relevant info, isn't it?

NeXplore Chooses Grid Hosting for Search Tool

Do you remember my proposal about grid computing?
Now you can use different gird hosters in different regions to improve your engine or colocate some old power mac's in different geographical areas.

If you take 1/100 % of the searh market, you should have enough traffic to live well of it.

I do remember you mentioning about that and also seen it somewhere else. A good idea but not so much fun as creating your own engine. I will relook at this when I get a spare moment
